What do you really make per hour?

The app shows what you were paid, not what you kept. Enter one week (or one shift) of driving to see your pay per hour and per mile after gas and car costs, and how much to put aside for taxes.

Count all the time you were online, including waiting for orders, not only the time on trips.

Maintenance, tires, wear and lost resale value. About $0.15–$0.30 per mile for most cars; higher for older or larger vehicles.

How it's calculated

Car costs = fuel (miles ÷ MPG × gas price) + other costs per mile. Real hourly pay = (pay − car costs) ÷ hours. The tax set-aside is self-employment tax (15.3% on 92.35%) on your pay minus the IRS standard mileage deduction ($0.76 per mile from July 1, 2026). Income tax isn't included, and this isn't tax advice.

Compare platforms with real numbers

One platform can pay more per order and still earn you less per hour once miles and waiting time count. Gigstrak logs your trips and compares income, expenses and miles for each platform you drive for.
